Blackridge’s security film is a multi-layered, optically clear film applied to glass surfaces. It reinforces your windows by holding broken glass together under impact—delaying intruders and preventing dangerous shards from flying.

How is Blackridge’s film different from standard window tint or decorative film?

Our films are engineered for security, not just aesthetics. They offer 30,000 psi tensile strength and 230 lb puncture resistance—certified to resist forced entry attempts. Standard tints can’t match that level of protection.

Does security window film actually prevent break-ins?

Yes. Security film makes windows up to 10X harder to penetrate, forcing burglars to make more noise and spend more time—both major deterrents.

Can this film stop a burglar with a crowbar or hammer?

Our 14 mil security film is custom pre-cut for your windows before our installers arrive. This thicker, more rigid film must be prepared in advance for a precise fit, which means we purchase and cut your exact material ahead of time. The deposit secures your installation date, covers these upfront material costs, and confirms your commitment so we can reserve our schedule and resources specifically for your project.
